This policy explains what information is (and isn't) collected when you visit this website or buy a Sleep Solutions book, and how it is used.
1. What this site collects
This site has no accounts and runs no advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (see section 3). Reading a page or downloading the free sample does not require you to give us any personal information. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, and we use them only to reply to you.
2. Purchases are handled by Gumroad
When you buy a book, checkout happens on Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record. Gumroad collects the information needed to process your order — such as your email address and payment details — under its own privacy policy. We never see your payment card details. We receive the order information Gumroad shares with sellers (such as your email address) and use it only to deliver the product, respond to your messages, and handle refunds.
3. Third-party services on this site
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Google may set cookies and receives usage data under Google's privacy policy; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Web fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts; when your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address as part of the request, per Google's privacy policy.
- Hosting. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operations.
4. Email and the contact form
If you email us or write through the contact form, we use your address only to reply. Messages are delivered to our mailbox and are not shared with third parties for their marketing, and we won't add you to any mailing list without your consent.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you (for order data, Gumroad is the primary data controller). To exercise them, contact us and we'll help, or point you to the right place at Gumroad.
6. Children
This site and the books are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will reflect the revision.
